Ben Bailey, CFP^®

Ben joined Smith Salley in 2024 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner helping clients achieve their financial goals. Ben’s passion is getting to know what makes each client unique and then creating a plan individually tailored to each family.  

Prior to joining Smith Salley, Ben was a Financial Advisor in Greensboro serving high net worth investors. One of his main areas of focus was providing proactive tax planning along with tax preparation.  Ben’s skillset allows him to craft comprehensive tax strategies for clients that put tax efficiency at the center point of financial planning and portfolio management.  He graduated from Liberty University in 2013 and Northwestern University’s CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ program in 2020. 

Ben grew up in the Triad and is happy to call North Carolina home. Outside of work Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is active in his church and enjoys playing golf and basketball.
