Allen Ropp, CFP®

Allen joined Smith Salley in January of 2017 as a financial advisor and financial planning specialist. He works closely with his clients to help optimize their investments when considering asset allocation, tax efficiency and philanthropy goals. He specializes in advanced financial planning strategies focusing on tax planning and Social Security claiming strategies. Allen has completed the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM designation.

Prior to joining Smith Salley, Allen spent two years with a wealth management firm in Northern Virginia. Allen grew up in Chesapeake, VA and is a proud graduate of the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech University. Allen currently resides in Winston-Salem with his wife, daughter and their dog.
