Kristy O’Byrne

Kristy joined Smith Salley in 2026 as an Operations Specialist. Born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, she earned her bachelor’s degree from UNC-Greensboro and later completed a post-baccalaureate in Accounting and Forensic Accounting at Guilford College.  Her professional journey includes years of experience in accounting, payroll, and business operations, where she developed a strong foundation in financial processes and a reputation for accuracy, reliability, and exceptional client service.

Outside of work, Kristy enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their lively household, which includes a dog, two cats, and two fish. When she’s not with family, you’ll often find her curled up with a good book or working on a crochet project.
